What's on it

The information here describes our services in general terms. It is not advice, legal or regulatory or technical, and it is not a quotation. Regulations change, and your obligations depend on your circumstances. Where a page describes a standard or a legal duty, it is a plain-English summary and not a substitute for reading the source or taking advice.

Nothing on this site forms a contract. A contract exists once we have given you a written quotation and you have accepted it.

Enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not oblige either of us to anything. We may decline work, and you may decline a quotation, for any reason. Prices indicated in conversation are estimates until confirmed in writing, because the value of used equipment moves and we cannot grade it accurately until we have seen it.

Accuracy

We try to keep this site correct and current, and we will fix anything you tell us is wrong. But we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of a web page. If something here matters to a decision you are making, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.
